What re:surf stores about you, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. It covers only the coaching logbook and this website.

Who is responsible
Lucas Batista Dias, independent surf coach in Peniche, Portugal. For any question about your data, write to Lucasbatistadias23@gmail.com.
What is stored
- Your name and email, and your phone number if I add it.
- Your coaching record: session dates, places, conditions, my notes, the focus for next time, and links to videos.
- Your package: which one, its dates, and whether it is marked as paid. Payments happen outside this website.
- Your password, stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. I never see it.
- Your IP address, briefly, to limit repeated login attempts.
Why I use it
To coach you and to keep your private logbook: to run the coaching you asked for, to show you your sessions and feedback, and to keep your account secure. I do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Videos
Videos are YouTube links kept as "unlisted". Anyone who has a link can watch that video, so links are only shown inside your private logbook. If other people appear in a video, I only share it with you.
Cookies
re:surf sets one cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Where it is kept
The website and its database run on Cloudflare, with the database set to prefer Western Europe. Videos are hosted by YouTube. Your WhatsApp messages with me are handled by WhatsApp.
How long I keep it
While you coach with me, and after that until you ask me to delete it. Your logbook is private to you and me.
Your rights
You can ask me at Lucasbatistadias23@gmail.com to see your data, correct it, or delete it, and I will do it. Under the GDPR you can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
